白馬山麓・八方尾根は、冬季長野オリンピックと美しい夏の花々で有名です。

山麓からリフトで約２５分、第一ケルンへ。　更に、「自然研究路」にそって

９０分歩けば、八方尾根稜線へでる。夏は高山の花が美しく、好天であれば、

アルプスの眺めが、実に素晴らしい。　おすすめは、７月下旬から８月下旬、

９月下旬から１０月の紅葉の時期、更に、スキーシーズンの冬が素晴らしい。

長野駅からはバスの便があり、麓の駐車場も広く利用可能。お気軽にどうぞ。

Happou-one mountain ridge is famous for Nagano Olympic Games
and flowers in Summer. You can reach the 1st cairn by 3 lifts which
takes nearly 25 minutes.
And walking for 90 minutes along "the nature observation way"
,you will stand at the 3rd cairn:the top of Happou-one ridge
near Happou-ike pond.
A splendid Japanese Alps can be seen there if it is a fine weather
throughout the year. In Summer you can enjoy lots of mountain flowers
here and there.
We recommend coming late of July to August (flowers),late Sep.
to Oct (red leaves) and Winter season for skiing.
Some bus are available from Nagano-city and a large parking lot
is available at the foot of Happou-one in Hakuba too.
Will you please come to Happou-one mountain ridge light heartedly.
